What kind of artwork is best suited for printing?
Images that are at least 150 dpi (resolution) and sized to print. (This means if you took the photo with a normal digital camera your photos will be high resolution. You should, also, convert the digital image to the size you will want them to appear on the shirt.)

Is there a charge for artwork that needs adjustments (for example brightness or contrast)?
There will be a charge only if the adjustments take longer then fifteen minutes.

Can you print something that is low resolution?
T-Shirt Direct will print what you send us, but if the image is not very good to start with there is not much we can do?

Do I pay up front and how?
Upon receiving your order, we will generate a bill and send it to you via PayPal. If the order is of large quantity (over 7 pieces), we require you pay at least half down.

How do we receive the product?
Colorado residents may pick the product up; otherwise, it will be mailed to you. We can also FedEx it Ground or Priority. The buyer does pay for all shipping costs. The cost will be determined by quantity.

How quick is the turn around time?
Here at T-Shirt Direct, we aim to please so we will get the product out the door as fast as possible. Small orders, up to 10 pieces, usually can turn around in 5-10 business days. The larger the order, the slower the turn around.

Can I supply my own apparel?
Yes. When placing your order, you will have to let us know and there will be a fee. Fee to be determined. Also, we can not guarantee supplied apparel.

I need a shirt of a specific brand or style. Can you get this for me?
We can certainly try our best, although there may be an additional charge for shipping and handling.

What brand shirts do you use?
We generally use Anvil 6.1, heavy t-shirts, 100% cotton t-shirts.

What can you not print on?
Polyester and Nylon.

Is it necessary to get a proof or sample of the apparel?
A proof is required for orders over 7 items, letting you see exactly what you will receive. The proof price will be the cost of the item and when the order is filled we will subtract half of the proof price. For under 7 items you may request a digital proof, meaning we will email you a picture of your t-shirt.

Can you size the image for me?
Yes, but you will need to tell us the size you would like.

What is the maximum size for an image?
Adult shirts and hoodies = 10" x 17"
Child shirts and hoodies = 8" x 10"
Pant legs = 4" x 17"

Do you accept copy written material?
We do not accept material that is not your own. If you do not have permission, we cannot reproduce it.

Can you tell me about washing the shirt?
We recommend washing it inside out with cold water and tumble dry on low. As with all clothing items, over time the shirt may experience some fading.

Can you print letters or designs on dark-colored apparel?
Yes, we can.

If I have a color portrait, can it be printed on a black or dark-colored shirt?
Yes, BUT it is not recommended. Because of the white ink underlayer, faces and skintones do not have the look they do when printed on light colored shirts. T-Shirt Direct will print what you want on whatever color shirt, but, again, it is not recommended.
